FOREST HILL DEVELOPMENT

Allto Construction was involved from the beginning of this estate subdivision development in East Garafraxa.

Work began with selective tree clearing followed by significant cut-and-fill operations across the property. With several soil types available onsite, materials were strategically managed to reduce imported material requirements and improve the finished development.

Suitable gravel generated through excavation was reused to construct the road base. Sandy native material was strategically placed where it could help reduce future septic system footprints, while onsite topsoil was screened and reused for landscaping and infiltration areas.

Managing materials intelligently onsite reduced trucking and material costs while providing long-term value to the developer and future homeowners.

This project demonstrates the value of involving an experienced excavation and site-development contractor early in the development process.
