Allto Construction completed a riverbank stabilization project to protect a cottage property in Mono, Ontario.
Years of erosion, combined with several significant storm events, had progressively undermined the riverbank and begun threatening the adjacent patio and cottage.
Work near waterways requires careful planning. Environmental impacts, regulatory approvals, access, construction methods and appropriate materials all had to be considered before construction began.
Natural stone was selected and installed to stabilize the bank while maintaining a finished appearance compatible with the surrounding river environment.
The completed work provides long-term erosion protection for the property while creating a durable and natural-looking riverbank.
