SPRUYT AVE ROAD RECONSTRUCTION

Allto Construction completed the reconstruction of Spruyt Avenue in Grand Valley approximately 45 years after our company originally helped construct the road.

This reconstruction involved more than simply replacing the road surface. A new stormwater system was installed to help manage groundwater and reduce unnecessary flows entering the sanitary sewer system.

Lateral connections and exterior sump structures were installed for properties along the street, allowing groundwater to be managed more effectively.

Despite a compressed construction schedule, the project proceeded through underground servicing, road reconstruction, concrete curbs, asphalt paving and final restoration.

For Allto, returning decades later to reconstruct a road originally built by our company was a unique reminder of the long-term infrastructure work we have been completing across the region since 1969.
